No less than 1400 hectares are planted in the villages of Arsac, Labarde, Cantenac, Soussans and Maurgaux itself. With 21 classified Châteaux including the world-famous Château Margaux, perfect quality wines are produced. The Cabernet Sauvignon grape, in particular, grows particularly well here and produces refined light wines with a fragrant aroma and a soft tannin structure.
