Patagonia
The average Argentinian wine region is hot enough to fry an egg on the hood of your car.
We do not associate Argentina with warm scarves and penguins! Yet these are bizarre enough also phenomena that we find on Argentinian territory, for example in Patagonia. Argentina is, after all, the southernmost country in the world. Admittedly, it is still a little too warm for igloos in most of Patagonia, but the powerful Antarctic winds give the wines from this region a special structure and a unique character.
