Pays d’Oc
Languedoc Roussillon, in the South of France.
The red, Vin de pays wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon area on the Mediterranean Sea are spicy and charming, best if they are drunk young. Vin de Pays wines are made here from typical indigenous grape varieties, grenache, mourvèdre, cinsaut, but also from the “large, famous” grape varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, grenache and syrah. In Vin de Pays wines, the grape variety, the soil and the passion of the winegrower are well matched.
