The wine is produced with the Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc wines. The Garganega grape gives refined lemon and almond flavors. The quality varies enormously between the wines of different producers. The best Soaves come from the slopes of the classico area of the municipalities of Soave and Monteforte d’Alpone. Soave goes well with an aperitif and with fish and mussels.
