Tokaji
Tokaji is a town in the Northern Hungary region.
It is located 44 km east of Miskolc and only 65 km from the Ukrainian border, amidst low hills (domb) where the vines climb over. Where the Bodrog and Tisza rivers meet, on the right bank lies Tokaj, the town that owes its fame to its wines. Tokaj is sandwiched between the river and the vineyards. The tokajer wines are white and mostly sweet. One of the dry species is the Tokaji szamorodni száraz (száraz means dry). Tokaji szamorodni édes is the sweet szamarodni. The most special wines are the variants of Tokaji Aszú, which are sweet.
